That led me to a local distillery right up the road from me here in Colorado, where I was able to purchase one of their retired whiskey casks.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis particular cask was used to age an American Single Malt giving the oak years of character before it ever made its way into my shop.
