Colorado Hunter - Drop Point Fixed Blade
Colorado Hunter - Drop Point Fixed Blade
The Colorado Hunter was designed by, well, a Colorado hunter. This drop point design is made from thicker 3/16" stock to make for a stout & durable hunting/outdoor knife that you can use when making camp and processing your harvest of the season. This blade features a false edge/swedge which thins out the tip to allow for good gutting and skinning performance. There is no sharpening choil on this blade as I have found that they catch on hides when skinning and making long strokes. I wanted this design to glide through with no hiccups. The handle is wide and fills out most hand sizes. The handle is curved to fit into your hand perfectly and all edges are rounded and smooth to prevent any hot spots with all day use. Jimping was added to the spine to allow for additional grip with your thumb or pointer finger (depending on grip orientation). Each blade comes with a kydex sheath and kydex belt clip that fits up to a 2" wide belt. The belt clip is removable and adjustable so you can carry in a multitude of orientations including horizontally. The eyelet holes on sheath are spaced at 0.5" on center to accommodate a wide variety of your other favorite carry accessories. Other sheath accessories can be found here .
